Lakes and landscapes
This reservoir is surrounded by the greenery of the Sayama Hills. From the dam, you can enjoy views of the wide expanse of water and the sky, along with the surrounding walking and cycling paths.
ACCESSIt's about a 15-minute walk from Musashi-Yamato Station on the Seibu Tamako Line to the dam area.
Cultural assets/roads
This is a Tokyo Metropolitan Government-designated cultural property that preserves the appearance of a public notice board where official decrees of the Edo shogunate were posted. Walking along the old road, you can experience the history of local transportation and daily life.
ACCESSTake the bus from Kamikitadai Station on the Tama Monorail and get off at the "Kurasaki" bus stop.

You can access Higashi-Yamato-shi Station and Tamagawa-Josui Station via the Seibu Haijima Line, and Sakurakaido Station and Kamikitadai Station via the Tama Monorail. The journey from Shinjuku to Higashi-Yamato-shi Station takes approximately 40 minutes.
Route buses and the community bus "Choco Bus" operate from Higashiyamato Station, Tamagawa-Josui Station, and Kamikitadai Station to various parts of the city.
Take the local roads from either the Kunitachi-Fuchu Interchange on the Chuo Expressway or the Tokorozawa Interchange on the Kan-Etsu Expressway. The area around Lake Tama can be congested on weekends.
