From Tokyo/Shinjuku, take the JR Chuo Line towards Tachikawa, and transfer to the JR Ome Line at Tachikawa Station or another station. For Ome-shuku, Ome Station is convenient, and for Mitake Valley, Mitake Station or Gunbata Station are convenient.
To get to Mount Mitake, take a bus from JR Mitake Station towards the cable car station. To get to Shiofune Kannon-ji Temple, take a local bus from JR Kawabe Station.
From the Tokyo area, take the Chuo Expressway, go through Hachioji Junction, and then onto the Ken-O Expressway. Use either the Ome Interchange or the Hinode Interchange depending on your destination.
