Temples and Flowers
This ancient temple is beloved as one of the three major Fudo temples in the Kanto region. Visitors can explore the temple grounds, enjoy the walking trails on the hillside behind the temple, and admire the seasonal hydrangeas and autumn foliage.

This zoo, situated on a spacious hilly terrain, allows visitors to observe animals in environments as close to their natural habitats as possible. Visitors can learn about the different ecosystems within each area.

Post towns and architecture
This building served as the main inn at a post station along the Koshu Kaido road. It was also the residence of Sato Hikogoro, who supported the Shinsengumi, and is a valuable space that conveys the atmosphere of Hino during the late Edo period.

From Shinjuku Station, it takes approximately 30 minutes to Hino Station on the JR Chuo Line, and approximately 35 minutes to Takahatafudo Station on the Keio Line. To get to Tama Zoological Park, use the Keio Zoo Line or Tama Monorail.
There is a bus route connecting Hino Station and Takahatafudo Station, which is convenient for getting to the Shinsengumi Hometown History Museum and the city hall. City-wide shuttle buses also operate.
Take the Chuo Expressway and exit at either the Kunitachi-Fuchu IC or Hachioji IC, then use local roads. The area can get congested on days when Takahata Fudoson Temple is holding events or when the zoo is closed.
